About Us

“Culture and the Canada-US Border” is an international research network funded by the Leverhulme Trust .

This interdisciplinary project brings together researchers from Europe and North America, as well as individuals, institutions and communities interested in, or impacted by, the Canada-US border. While enquiry into the significance of this border has more often fallen within the remit of the social sciences, CCUSB is specifically concerned with culture and cultural production on, across and around the border site.

CCUSB is based at the University of Kent, and our international network partners are Algoma University, the University of Buffalo, the University of Nottingham, and Mount Royal University.
